For decades Adam’s pliers have been a must in orthodontic appliance construction. Now DB Lab Supplies is proud to introduce the new Ixion Adams Plier, the IX164. Developed and manufactured to the same specification as the original Ash Adams, designed by Professor Phillip Adams, the IX164 allows an accuracy and precision not seen with other Adams Pliers.
All Ixion Adams Pliers have tungsten carbide inserts at the tips providing a longevity perhaps unknown with most pliers; the tips have high resistance to deformation or wear under constant use, providing continuing accuracy and precision that is so important in appliance construction.
The tips of the IX164 are perfectly square, allowing neat and precise wire bending, creating a uniform “U” loop in the construction of an Adams clasp. They also meet completely at the apex of the plier providing a firm hold of the wire.
All Ixion Instruments are made from German surgical stianless steel with a beautiful satin finish which reduced glare.
All instruments have a box joint which provides a reliable smooth action and ensures the tips align perfectly every time.
