Fast Back is a new device for the distalisation of upper molars, developed with the cooperation of Dr. C. Lanteri and Mr. F. Francolini. The Fast Back device allows to get a translation movement of the molars with preset force. There is no need for the cooperation of the patient thus maintaining a good control of the anchorage. The principle of its function founds on the compression of a MEMORIA® coil spring, with the option of two types of springs: 200 g and 300 g, in order to deliver continuous force to the molar. The spring should be reactivated once a month after distalizing actions of the screws has begun. The tube prewelded on the molar band allows the sliding of the screw arm with a total control of the direction of distalisation.
