A healthy mind locked inside a frozen body… Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP) is one most one of the world's most debilitating conditions and we are proud to sponsor the FOP Friends Charity who held their conference at the weekend by donating dental hygiene kits to all of the delegates. Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva sufferers need to take extra special precautions with their dental hygiene to reduce the risk of needing teeth extractions as the invasive nature of dental surgery can cause flare ups in the patient's jaw, potentially resulting in their jaw becoming locked.
