Section 1 - How we gather personal Information

Personal data is given to us directly in a number of ways, this may be through the website, over the phone or at exhibitions or sales representatives visits and may be in relation to account opening, registration on educational events or requesting information on our products and services. It is our policy to use data only for the intention it has been consented for. We do not purchase third party mailing lists.

Section 2 - How we use your personal information

It is necessary to use personal data in our standard accounting practices as outlined in our terms and condition of sale, when meeting our regulatory requirements, in the marketing of products and services and conducting staff training.

When applicable we hold personal data including that of patients, to comply with the medical device directive regulations and delegates on CPD verifiable events to comply with GDC requirements.

We also record calls for quality and training purposes

Section 3 - Sharing and transferring personal information

We share personal data only when necessary to comply with regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies or payment transaction processors.  Some third-party service providers may have their own privacy policy which we would recommend you familiarise yourself with.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Section 4 - Storing your data

We take appropriate measures to ensure keep your personal data is kept accurate, up to date and secure with a view to preventing any unauthorised access to it.

We keep your information for as long as we need to for the purposes outlined in section 2.

As we provide products and services relating to your profession, it is our policy to hold data for marketing purposes until we are notified that you are no longer involved in the dental profession or wish to opt-out of our service.

Section 5 - Your consent

There are some practices which do not require your consent such as regulatory requirements or to perform a contract such as a sale of product or service.

When using your details for marketing purposes we require your consent and will periodically make contact with you to ensure you are still happy to receive marketing of our products and services.  You have the right to withdraw from this at any time.

Section 6 - Changes to your information

If you wish to change any personal details or unsubscribe from marketing lists, please let us know at sales@dbortho.com so we are able to keep your records up to date.

Section 7 - Changes to this policy

We may occasionally modify this policy so please review it from time to time.  If we make material changes which affect your rights we will notify you of these changes.
