Featured by a significantly smaller body bulk than other competing expanders. It features two extra long arms also performing support for anteriors and ensuring excellent stability and comfort for the patient. The micro expander can also be used for the expansion of the mandible.
It can be positioned in the standard way, i.e. with the markings of the arrow and maximum expansion visible. (Figure 1)
It can also be positioned upside down with the two arrows visible, in case of very narrow palates, to minimise the bulkiness of the arms once they are bent. (Figure 2)
